Important Dates

Abstracts have closed

14 Dec – Acceptance/Decline.  All authors have been notified

16 Mar – Full paper required

31 Mar – Conference Registration required

10 Apr – Hynds nominees advised (three)

The final programme with your date/time will be advised the week of 1 May – after the Hynds Papers have been selected

Hynds Paper/ Presentation of the Year – all submitted papers from IPWEA NZ members will be considered for the Hynds Awards and successful nominees will be advised by 10th April.  The Hynds presentations are keynote presentations held on Thursday.

Download the IPWEA NZ 2017 guidelines for papers (Approx 3000 words)  Papers are not required for the Young IPWEA NZ mini presentations

Powerpoint template

A powerpoint template will be provided and we request that the template is used for at least the first slide. Do note, the preferred format is 16:9.  We will advise you closer to the time, where to email your powerpoint presentation at least one week beforehand.

Presentation options

There are three options to choose from – you select

  • 20 min presentation plus 5 mins for Q & A
  • 10 min presentation with group Q & A (5 mins for 2 presentations)
  • 5 x 7 min presentations -for under 35’s only. Each  presenter will speak for 7 minutes and there will be 10 mins group Q & A for all presenters at the end. A prize will be awarded for the best presentation. Papers are not required for this session
